Text Message (SMS) Consent Policy

This page explains how and why SMS messages are sent via the IVO Systems platform.

Who Sends the Messages?

IVO Systems is a B2B software platform used by civil construction companies to manage job schedules, equipment, and employee communication. Messages are initiated by authorized managers at our customer organizations.

Who Receives the Messages?

Only employees whose phone numbers are entered into our system by their employer (our customer) are eligible to receive text messages. These employees must be actively employed and have consented to receive job-related SMS notifications.

How Is Consent Collected?
  • Paper-based employment agreements
  • Digital onboarding forms used by the employer
  • Company policies communicated during hiring

Employers are responsible for collecting and maintaining records of consent from their employees.

What Types of Messages Are Sent?
  • Daily work schedule notifications
  • Dispatch ticket assignments
  • Construction equipment maintenance alerts
  • Manager-to-employee custom messages
How to Stop Receiving Messages

Every message includes opt-out instructions. Employees can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving further SMS messages. This action is processed automatically by our system.

Our Compliance Policy

Our platform is used by civil construction firms to send SMS messages to employees who have provided consent to their employer. IVO Systems requires that all customers obtain clear, affirmative consent before sending SMS notifications, either through onboarding documentation or other appropriate means.

If you have questions about a specific message, please contact your employer or IVO Systems Support.
